“Cotton Clouds”

DPC-LLC Supplies Camera Department For “Cotton Clouds”

The Grandin Theatre Film Lab prepares young film students for future education, careers, and interests in the film, entertainment, and communications industries. Dave was given the opportunity to serve as Director of Photography for a student written and directed short film. The goal of the project was to take the Film Lab’s experiential learning model a step further by producing a student generated screenplay with established film industry professionals. The production took place over 7 days and was a full blown professional production. The students gained experience in various departments including Art Department, Production, Grip and Electric, Camera, and Sound. They took part in a number of pre-production meetings as well as daily post-wrap reviews.
