VMT TV Spot
Having done an award winning fund raising campaign film for the J Class steam locomotive 611, The Virginia Museum of Transportation asked Dave to to do a broadcast tv spot for the museum as a whole. The spot encourages folks from ages 3 to 93 to “come take a look.” It focuses on the variety of exhibits the museum curates, the rich history of transportation in Virginia, and the hands-on learning available in the museum.
DPC-LLC worked with the museum marketing department to present their primary points within :30. Roughly :60 of copy had to be trimmed to :30 and retain the original thoughts and ideas. A variety of dynamic shots using a jib and various dollies successfully tells the story visually.
